PROGRAMS
Center for Modern Dance Education offers a complete curriculum of modern dance for ages toddler to senior citizens, and for all ability levels, ranging
from absolute beginners to advanced dancers and including people who use wheelchairs. Programs include:
Annual Danceathon at a local college theatre and numerous Cameo Concerts provides students the opportunity to perform
Saturday Workshop provides children with the opportunity to choreograph for other children
Master classes, workshops, and professional performances by guest artists
Senior and Junior Repertory Company provide advanced training and performance opportunities for dedicated young dancers (including presentations on professional
stages with full technical capacity)
Moving Experience Dance Company provides creative outlets, dance training and performance opportunities for teens with disabilities
Moving Into Knowledge program for youth at-risk includes curriculum-integrated classes during the year, as well as intensive summer camps for both children and
adolescents at-risk
Learning Through the Arts program for children, teens, and adults with disabilities offers dance classes and performance opportunities for people with disabilities,
including integrated activities for individuals with and without disabilities
Open Door Dance Program is a collaboration with other artists and organizations with the goal breaking down attitudinal barriers
Outreach Programs offered throughout the year bring recreational dance classes to senior centers, community centers, and other non-traditional locations

Classes are co-educational, unless otherwise noted. Tuition remittance and work-study opportunities are available for economically disadvantaged individuals.
